SLDC Kendal Fell
Kendal Fell is a vast area of fell land incorporating Kendal Golf Club, with a mixture of private and public access. South Lakeland District Council manages the land on behalf of the different landowners. As part of a management plan, I was appointed to design a family of wayfinding and interpretation signage to provide key information to the public.
Primary signs contain mapping, a code of conduct, and key information about the flora and fauna that can be found in different areas of the fell. The mapping highlights key sites, along with public footpaths. These primary signs were to be located at the key entry points to Kendal Fell.
A family of secondary signage was designed to feature the code of conduct and highlight information about key sites.
