After purchasing the Morecambe Hotel in 2013 we spent two years refurbishing it to create a Gastropub/Boutique Hotel at a total cost of just over £1m. I had very fixed ideas about the branding and was not going to be influenced or swayed on my thoughts. We were introduced to Matt and Rebecca from The Design Attic and within ten minutes of their initial presentation we were blown away with their ideas and suggestions. So much for my fixed ideas! My co-directors were concerned that I would stick to my guns with regard to my own ideas but to their amazement I was totally sold on one of the two suggestions put in front of us. In fact, within a few minutes of seeing the branding option that we went with I was literally tingling with excitement! That initial presentation rolled out into other areas of the hotel’s branding and the joined up theme has been welcomed by ourselves, our staff and our customers since we opened the doors in August 2015.
