1818 Auctioneers

I delivered a new website for 1818 Auctioneers. Based at the Rural Auction Centre, Crooklands near Kendal, Cumbria, 1818 holds weekly vintage, antique, collectables and clearance auctions and bi-monthly auctions of antiques, collectables and curios, as well as regular specialist auctions.

The new website allows 1818 to showcase their specialist auction departments ranging from Antiques and Collectables to Militaria to Whisky. Customers can create an account that allows them to save lots and place commission bids, which can be placed directly through the website up to 9am auction day.

I’ve also applied the new look & feel across print. Designing a series of information leaflets and all 1818 advertising.

Website redesign for 1818 Auctioneers
Now entering our third century of auctioneering, from our friendly auction house based at Junction 36 of the M6, the new website opens our auctions up to a much larger – potentially global – audience.
The functionality of the site makes it easier for customers to find out all about our lots, while the admin is streamlined to help us save time and increase the number of auctions her are able to hold.
We chose The Design Attic based on their reputation for creating simple effective branding and creative design that makes a real difference to clients businesses. The website was launched in March and feedback has been very positive.
